125 Stories

Agatha Christie’s #125 Stories spans Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Agatha Christie’s birth. Inspired by archival fan letters kept by the Christie family, the campaign asked the public to submit their stories of the impact of Christie and her writing on their lives.

Built with Backbone and Marionette.js, this responsive HTML5 web app makes these archival letters available to the public and utilises the TwineSocial API to gather the contemporary stories submitted with the #125Stories hashtag. Users could submit their own story through the site and browse photos, videos and writings submitted by other fans.

The campaign was featured in the Sunday Times and generated worldwide interest from Christie fans. A selection of the best stories can be found in Agatha Christie Limited’s campaign round up blog post.
