World’s Favourite Christie invited Agatha Christie fans to vote for their favourite Agatha Christie book as part of the celebration of Christie’s 125th anniversary
I built a responsive HTML5 web app with Backbone and Marionette.js that allowed users to vote for their chosen title and which presented the 25 shortlisted titles in an engaging visual format, with each book having a page with quotes and videos from celebrity endorsers.
Voters were encouraged to champion their title on social media, which created a huge buzz around the hashtag #FaveChristie. More than 15,000 votes were counted from over 100 countries. The campaign was covered by BBC News and The Guardian. Agatha Christie Limited published a series of fun infographics summarising the voting demographics of the campaign as part of their official vote winner announcement.
